Telecommunication service providers have brought loan service so that they can provide service even when the customer does not have ‘main balance’. It is beneficial for the customer to be able to use the service when the main balance on the mobile is exhausted.

For the first time in Nepal, the private sector Ncell has introduced a loan scheme. After that, Nepal Telecom and Smart have learned the same thing.

Service providers are operating this service under different names. Ncell’s ‘Ncell Sapti’, Nepal Telecom’s ‘Namaste Credit’ and Smart’s ‘Smart Easy Loan’.

Namaste Credit (loan) from NTC

To Activate Namaste Credit service of NTC, you have to type Start and send an SMS to 1477 (START 1477). Customers get a credit of Rs 5 to 80 depending on how they use Nepal Telecom. To know the credit limit, the customer should send an SMS to STATUS 1477.

Sapati (loan) from Ncell

Ncell has increased the loan plan from Rs 20 to Rs 40. Ncell has made an arrangement to give a loan of Rs 20 to Rs 40 depending on the money spent by the customer on the phone.

To participate in Ncell’s Sapati service, the service can be activated by typing Star 9988 hash (* 9988 #). In order to participate in Ncell’s loan scheme, the system has to be ordered. Ncell’s system lends Rs 40 to the customer’s main balance.

Easy loan of smart

To participate in the service of Smart, you have to type Star 129 Star 40 hash * 129*40#. Customers get a loan of up to Rs 40 for smart services.

Whose service is good?

There is no option to stop this service in Ncell and Smart. If the customer of Nepal Telecom does not want to use the Namste credit service, it can be closed. For this you can send an SMS to 1477 (STOP 1477) by typing stop.

Customers using Nepal Telecom’s credit service do not have to pay extra. But for the loan service of Scell ​​and Smart, the customer has to pay an additional fee of Rs 2.51.

The fixed amount received by the customer of Nepal Telecom in the form of credit is deducted from the amount received after recharge, while in Ncell and Smart the additional amount is deducted from the amount of Rs 42.51 paisa.

Who gets this service?

Customers who have been using Ncell’s SIM for one month or more can avail this service.

Similarly, users of Nepal Telecom and Smart must have been using the company’s SIM for three months or more.
