Bajaj vs Yamaha are competing brands. Bajaj has the largest market share in the motorcycle segment in Nepal, followed by Yamaha.

Yamaha’s best-selling model in Nepal is the FZS V3. The Pulsar 150 is the best-selling model. However, there is a big difference in price between these two models.

Most of the features in the Yamaha FZS V3 are also available on Bajaj’s Pulsar NS160. The main difference between the Pulsar NS 160 and the Yamaha FZS V3 is in the engine. Yamaha has used FI engine while Bajaj has used DTSI carburetor engine.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS is priced at Rs 2,89,900 while the Yamaha FZS V3 is priced at Rs 3,23,900. The Pulsar NS is cheaper by Rs 34,000 on these two motorcycles.

Both the wheels have disc brakes and anti-lock braking system (ABS).

The Yamaha FZ V3 has a 149 cc engine and the Pulsar NS has a 160 cc engine. The Pulsar NS 160 delivers a maximum of 15.1bh while the FZ V3 delivers a maximum of 13bh.

The Pulsar NS 160 has a 12-liter fuel tank, while the FZS V3 has a 13-liter fuel tank.
The Pulsar NS160 has a wet multiplate clutch, while the FZ V3 has a wet multi-disc brake. Both the motorcycles have 5 speed gearbox available.

Both the motorcycles have telescopic front in the front and the FZ V3 has a swingarm in the rear and Nitrox monoshock suspension in the Pulsar NS160.

The FZ V3 has LED headlights. The same Pulsar NS160 has a bulb type MFR headlight. Both the taillights have LEDs.

Both speedometer and trip meter can be found digitally on motorcycles. The FZ V3 has a digital tachometer and the NS160 has an analog.
