How to do trade share online?
In order to trade shares online, the investor will have to go to the broker and get the KYC updated first. Investors will not be able to engage in online trading until the KYC is updated. Those who have chosen an online account will be able to apply online.
The broker company will then verify the KYC and include it in the TMS (Trade Management System) and the investor will receive a ‘Trading URL Address’ from the broker company.
Open the URL and click on ‘Forgot Password’ and enter your username and email in that window. A link to change the password will then be available in the email. You will need to go to the link in the email and change the password.
Click here to download ‘Mero Share’ app.
Now you can go to the trading URL and login to the system by using your username and password. Investors will be able to receive OTP (One Time Password) by email during login. You have to put the ‘OTP’ on the screen and login.
To post an order, go to Order Management on the left side and click on Normal Order. Then the order entry screen will open. The buyer chooses ‘Buy’ and the seller chooses ‘Sell’.
Select ‘Equity’ in the share type. Now select the company and you can see the orders entered by that company. Put the number of shares and the desired price on the same order page and click ‘Place Order’. If the message ‘ME not logged’ appears after that click, contact the broker and ask them to login with your DNA.
Otherwise the message with the order place will appear on the screen. After placing the order, you can see it on the same screen. If the order matches, the transaction will be completed, otherwise it will be canceled at the end of the day.
To change or cancel an order in the meantime, go to Order Management, go to Order Book and click on Open Order. Click on the ‘Modify’ sign of your order to change the number or price you want to buy and click on the place order or cancel if you want to cancel by clicking on the cancel sign.
