The school teaches computer, music, art and physical development as well as French and Spanish. The fee for applying here is 100 dollars for preschool, 450 dollars for grades 1 to 12 and 7,000 dollars for grades 1 to 12 if you are a new student.
The annual fee for grades 1 to 12 is $900, transportation is $1,100, and the senior fee is $120. The monthly fee is $6,400 for pre-school, $18,000 for elementary school, $19,995 for lower secondary level and $22,020 for secondary level.
2) The British School
The British School is located in Sanepa, Lalitpur. All resources for running a school are based on children’s fees. Here the British education system is taught. It mainly targets British and Commonwealth children.
The school has given first priority to the children of British citizens working in Nepal, while the second priority has been given to the brothers and sisters of the children studying in the school. Similarly, in the third priority, Commonwealth citizens who are working in Nepal can study only after receiving a No Objection Letter from the Ministry of Education.
The school charges £150 for registration. Similarly, Capital Development costs £3,000 for Class 2, £3,500 for Class 3 and 4, and £2,000 for GCE A Level 5 to 12.
Similarly, refundable deposits cost £1,500 for Class 2, 3,4 and £ 2,150 for Class 5 to 12. The annual fee for nursery is £1,800, £ 6,120 for grades 1 and 2, £7,720 for grades 3 and 4, and £ 8,520 for grades 12 and above.
3) International French School of Kathmandu
Established for the purpose of teaching French citizens and Nepali students, this school is one of the most expensive schools. The initial application fee is Rs 4,790. Similarly, Rs 59,880 should be paid as deposit. After that, if you want to teach in a kindergarten school, the admission fee for both the first and second year is Rs 59,880, while at the elementary level, it is Rs 119,760.
The monthly fee for kindergarten in the first year is Rs 455,090 and the tuition fee for the second year is Rs 562,875. Similarly, the tuition fee for elementary level class has been fixed at Rs. 694,610.
The car rental is Rs 6,750 inside the ring road and Rs 7,500 outside the ring road and Rs 445 per day for lunch. If you want to take lunch from home, you only have to pay Rs 45.
4) Ullens School
It is probably the most expensive school in Nepal run by Nepali investors. Located in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, the school’s curriculum and principles are based on the Bank Streets Development Interactive Approach and Developing Capital Person.

The staff here is trained from the Bank Street School of Education in New York, USA. The rest of the staff are from all over the world. The school is the first IB school in Nepal. It is officially based on the IB Diploma program of the Switzerland-based International Baccalaureate Organization.
There are more than 100 seats in class 1 for admission and the upper level is based on the waiting list. Class 100 has 60 seats in each academic session and can be admitted only if seats are available at other levels.
It has a capacity of 360 students up to class 1 to 10. The school charges Rs 40,000 for admission, Rs 40,000 for annual fee, Rs 40,000 for security deposit, Rs 40,000 for monthly fee, Rs 2,500 for emergency food and Rs 350 for tax.
5.Rajshree Gurukul School
Located in Sallaghari of Bhaktapur, this school is established on 20 ropanis of land. It is a school established for the purpose of providing basic Nepali education. The school has developed a similar curriculum with the aim of introducing children not only locally but also internationally.
The school can enroll 30 students in class 1 in one academic session. There are 26 seats available in each academic session and admission is taken in each academic session. The capacity of each class is only 26 students while the total capacity of classes 1 to 6 is 156. The school charges more than Rs 25,000 per month. Top 10 School of Nepal.
