How to Obtain Police Clearance certificate in Nepal

Now Get Police Clearance certificate Online

There is no need to go to the police office for the documents of conduct known as ‘Police Clearance certificate’ for foreign employment and other purposes.

Nepal Police has started the arrangement of providing police clearance certificate papers online from Sunday. now you can get police reports through online site of Nepal Police.

The service-seeking applicants themselves can get the police report by printing it in color on A-4 size standard paper. To get the police report, the application form has to be filled online.

Government of Nepal also planning to include this service on Nagarik App.

A police report will be received within 24 hours of sending the scanned photocopy of the required documents along with the application form.

According to the Conduct Branch of the Department of Police Headquarters Work and Crime Investigation, the report received from online has been verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to this, the service clearance report received online from now on can be verified by the service recipient himself by printing the color on A4 size standard paper and submitting it directly to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Police Headquarters has informed that the police clearance report received online from 16 February will be printed on certificate level paper and submitted to the Consular Services Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for verification.

Earlier, even though the online form for police report could be filled, one had to go to the police headquarters to get the report.
