The temperature of China’s reactor has reached 120 million degrees Celsius. The actual sun’s maximum temperature is 15 million degrees Celsius. That is why China’s reactor is said to be more powerful than the real sun.

The reason the reactor is so hot is nuclear fusion because the reactor drives nuclear fusion reactions. Nuclear fusion forces the stored nuclear energy to fuse and produces a ton of heat in the process.
