iPhone 6S will get iOS 15 Update: The iPhone 6S will turn six in September this year the company launched it six years ago in America. Apple announces that iPhone 6S will also get an iOS 15 Update.
If you’re running an iPhone 6S, Apple has given you good news. Your phone will be eligible for an upgrade to iOS 15 when the operating system goes public.
The iPhone 6S Plus, along with the iPhone 6S, and the first-generation iPhone SE, which was launched with iOS 9, will now be among the oldest devices to receive OS updates.
6 years is a very long lifespan for any mobile device, and of course the 6S is important in the race for the longest supported phone to date. Earlier, the iPhone 5S lasted for 5 years when it was last updated with iOS 12 but did not qualify for iOS 13. On the Android side, Samsung has recently taken steps to improve the life of its devices, including providing four years of security support for some. But 6 years of OS updates and security support puts the 6S in various leagues.
