There is fierce competition between telecom and mobile service providers to provide cheap internet. In this regard, the companies are making public offers including various attractive packages.
However, in the absence of data packages, there is not much competition among companies in the price of using mobile internet. So which company’s internet would be cheaper without data package? Here we are giving you information about the tariff rates of three companies that have been providing 3G and 4G internet in the country.
According to the tariff approved by the Telecommunications Authority, the government-owned Nepal Telecom’s mobile internet is cheaper than other companies. Accordingly, in case the data package is not taken, the telco is providing internet at the rate of one rupee per Mbps.

However, mobile data of other companies is much more expensive than telecom. While the telco provides mobile data at Rs 1 per Mbps, mobile service providers Ncell and Smart Cell are charging customers Rs 2 per Mbps.
What difference does a data tariff make?
Currently, Nepal Telecom, Ncell and Smart Cell have been providing mobile internet service. To some extent, there is no competition between the three companies in mobile data packages. However, there is a big difference between the three companies in terms of data charges for non-packages.

The service providers have been deducting the mobile balance according to the regular rate tariff when using the internet without data pack or after the data pack has been taken. Some Internet users have a way to know when the data pack was paying regular fees are expensive if some data has already taken are not aware of the data pack.
In my point of view Smart cell data are more cheaper than other service provider in service . Nepal telecom and Ncell’s data are expensive.
