One year ago, Gear Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and Chitlang Resort Pvt. Ltd. of Chitlang jointly started the commercial operation of quad bikes in popular tourist destination. There are currently five quads operating in Chitlang it promote adventure tourism.
About 7 km section of unpaved road from Chitlang Resort to Thaha Municipality-9 Chitlang Majhagaun has been paved for quad operation.
The local ward office has given temporary permission to operate the quad imported from China by paying around Rs 1.1 million in cultural heritages place Chitlang with quad bike adventure.

As there is no legal provision and procedure in Nepal regarding the operation and regulation of quads, the operator Nepal informed that they are currently operating on the dirt road with temporary permission.
Quad bike are used abroad for adventurous travel, especially on desert, muddy and uneven roads.
Quad riders in Chitlang also have the experience of being more enjoyable on muddy, slippery and rocky roads.
Ranjit Vyanjankar, who came from Bhaktapur to enjoy the quad, said that it was a very pleasant experience to run the quad on the muddy road.
The resort charges Rs 3,000 for a 7-kilometer quad trip. Before the trip, the resort has been giving necessary instructions for some time as well as conducting tests.
The resort has been monitoring the tourists through the staff after they leave for the quad trip. The resort has arranged separate staff for these works.
Chitlang is considered as a major tourist destination of Makwanpur from religious, cultural, archeological and historical point of view. Chitlang is an important tourist destination from the point of view .
