Currently, dozens of service providers are providing internet services in Nepal. Although 127 service providers have obtained licenses from the regulatory Nepal Telecommunication Authority, only 40 are in operation.
When the same service provider is providing different packages, it is a dilemma as to which service provider’s package is cheaper. Today we are discussing which service provider is cheaper to end this kind of dilemma.
For which we have compared the packages of the big five companies with a total market share of 83 percent. Including VAT and telecommunication service charges.
Nepal Telecom
In the overall package, the state-owned telecom company Telecom is providing internet facility at the cheapest price. At Rs 833 per month, 10 Mbps FTTH is the cheapest package of the internet company.
You can also get IP TV and telephone service along with internet in the same FTTH of Telecom. The company is also offering 250 minutes of talk time every month so that calls can be made within the network.
Accordingly, you can get free telephone with unlimited internet speed of 15 Mbps for only Rs. 875 per month. If you also want an IP TV, you should be willing to pay at least Rs 1,200 a month.
The company has been providing 29 different internet packages for customers up to Rs 2,400 per month.

WorldLink, the country’s largest Internet service provider on fixed line internet, has recently unveiled a new offer called Tehelka. Accordingly, you can run IP TV with 10 Mbps internet for only Rs 903 per month.
Overall, this package is a bit more expensive than Nepal Telecom’s package, but it is the cheapest package in Nepal for IP TV service. But you can use the Internet service on only 3 devices.
