Big Change in Content sharing on Fb News
In the last few days, many rules of Facebook have changed. While Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently announced a review and change of content policy, the company has now made another big decision. You all know that social media is full of fake and old news. Sometimes people accidentally share an old news or a post on social media, but sometimes to mislead people, some people share a link of a two-three year old news with a new issue on social media. Granted, though it won’t happen anymore.

Facebook has made a big change regarding content sharing
For the last several years, there has been an uproar over the sharing of years old news on FB. There are two problems with sharing old news, the first is that after sharing old news, people consider it breaking or new news and share it fast. The second problem is that old news sometimes promotes fake news, because people start sharing that news by linking to a new issue, when in fact no immediate issue has anything to do with that news.
Facebook is bringing big updates
Facebook will now curb such news. If you share any news older than 90 days on Facebook, you will get a popup notification stating the date of publication of the news and then you will be asked to share and cancel. This means that if you share old news, Facebook will alert you, then it is up to you whether you want to share that news or not. Company has said about this feature that what a user will see on his timeline should be very important and reliable. This feature will also let users know if they want to share old news on their timeline.
