The Department of Foreign Employment has made an arrangement of Renew work Permit from Online for the workers who have gone for foreign employment once to get the work permit online again if they want to continue the same foreign employment. Today we are telling you how to get renew labour permits from destination countries.

Only if you have registered your eye or fingerprint (biometric) when you get the old work permit can you get the work permit online again. But if you don’t have biometric registration, you can’t get a work permit online again.

For this, you have to go to the office of the Department of Foreign Employment and register your eye or fingerprint. There is a welfare fund fee of Rs 1,500 for renew and an insurance fee of Rs 3,000 to 9,000 depending on the age of the worker. Which you can pay through eSewa, Khalti etc.

How to get renew labour permit

Now sign in with your username (email) and password. If you do not know your username and password, click on the re-entry register and click on search by entering your passport number on the new webpage.

Now click on the place where Re-Entry is written and select Employment Details. Click on Add New in the Employment Details.

Then you will see a form called Individual Employment Detail. Fill in the required details. The country of the company, the name of the company and the currency in that country should be mentioned in the company’s statement.

Fill in the details of the facility with your skill, salary amount, daily working hours, weekly working hours and other details. Enter the visa number, visa issuance date, visa expiration date and agreement period as details of the visa.

Also attach documents such as old labour permit, certificate of competency, eligibility certificate, immigration stamp, passport, visa, embassy. The embassy letter should be kept only in case of need.

After filling in all the details, tick the Agreement Form and click on the Submit button at the end.

You can pay the welfare fund fee and insurance fee for renewing labour online from a digital wallet such as service and wallet.

To do this, go to the eSewa or Khalti app or website, search for Foreign Employment Welfare Fund and Foreign Employment Insurance Fund, respectively, and put your passport number in it.

Now you can see the amount you have to pay and pay. If you are abroad and have not been able to use the eSewa or Khalti, you can pay such fee through someone else in Nepal.

Now go to the last Individual ReEntry Request at the bottom of the dashboard. There is a green tick under Insurance and Cash Deposit. Click on the red dot under Action and click on Request.

Then press OK in the next message. Now the Branch Token Info option appears. In it, select the online branch and click on Submit.

Now click on Print and go to Print Sticker. Then the print sticker appears, press the action button at the end of it and click on View. Now the employment info appears.

Click on the print sticker below it. Keep the re-employment permit sticker safe by printing it.

Normally, a work permit can be obtained again within a week of submitting the form. You can also get a labor approval sticker again in the email on your user ID.

If there is a request, the message with the reason will also come in the email, the department said. So don’t forget to check your email regularly after re-applying for a work permit online.
