Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP Edition launched: Yamaha has launched the Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP Edition in India. The price of the bike is set at Rs 1,47,900 Indian Rupees. This new MotoGP Edition is 1,400 Indian rupees more expensive than the regular model. The company said it was launched as The Call of the Blue brand. It has many cosmetic updates.

Look and design of MT-15

The fuel tank and side panel of the bike are branded as Yamaha MotoGP. Painted in an all-black theme, the bike has green body decals. It includes LED projector headlamps and twin daytime running lights. This Naked Streetfighter bike is based on the Delta box chassis used in the R15 V3 bike.

Engine and power

The bike has a 155 cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. Which generates 18.5 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm at 8,500 Rpm.

Feature

The new bike has the same features as the standard MT-15 bike. The Delta Box frame includes a side stand engine cut-off, an assist and slipper clutch, single-channel ABS, and a variable valve actuation system. The bike weighs 138 kilograms. The bike also features a functional LED headlamp, LED taillights, multi-function LCD instrument cluster, gear position indicator, uni-level seat, and underbody cowl.

Tires and suspension

Alloy wheels are available on the bike. The bike includes 140mm super-wide radial rear tires. The bike has telescopic fork suspension on the front and liquid type mono cross suspension on the rear.
